I really enjoyed staying at Melody’s place. It was very clean, nice, and comfortable. It was also bigger than I expected based on the impression I got from the online photos. The main room is where the large bed is, but also has a full size desk with chair, and a love seat kind of thing where the tv viewing area is. The bathroom is also big enough to fit a tub. The kitchen has a big refrigerator w/freezer, a toaster oven, and some burners. I used the oven but not the burners. For me the real star, however, was the private elevated deck. It faces the fairly steep wooded mountainside behind Melody’s place. Because of the shape of the mountain and the dense foliage it is really quiet. Don’t get me wrong, you can still hear the sounds of the neighborhood if you want to, but it’s quiet enough that you can block them out and just listen to the apparently healthy and thriving woodland community of lively songbirds. Even though there was Wi-Fi available and a tv with a bunch of channels to choose from provided, I spent more time just sitting on the deck chilling out, and doing as adults do in the great state of Massachusetts, listening to the birds singing in the woods. I must also mention that it is located on the Mohawk Trail which is a very scenic small highway that weaves in and out, up and down north western Mass. It’s a great drive and another reason to stay at Melody’s Place. Melody is a great host and I really enjoyed staying at her property. I would highly recommend Melody’s Place Suite 4 for singles and couples looking for a clean, safe, quiet escape.

We had a great stay at Melody’s Place. Our host was super friendly and nice, and gave us great suggestions. The place itself is very cute and we enjoyed the comfortable bed and especially the deck. We loved our stay here and hope to be back soon!

My husband and I were for a weekend. The room it’s big. The bed very comfortable.
Great place for a couple’s weekend getaway. Cute and cozy. Has great seats on the hill in the back yard; great place to relax and watch the sunset. Also has a view of people skiing across the way. Our dog enjoyed it too!

Melody’s place was the perfect location for our ski trip to Berkshire East for my husband, me, and a friend! It was so great being only 7 minutes away! She was super attentive, providing an extra heater to us on an especially cold night in Charlemont!

Such a great place to get away and relax! Really needed this…enjoyed the balcony room 3 included as well, 4/20 friendly and many dispensaries in the area. Berkshire roots was a favorite of my boyfriend and mine. The pictures do not do this amazingly detailed place justice.

Melody’s Place was the perfect location for a wedding we were attending to locally. She was charming to talk to and our room was just as pictured and described.

Melody was so nice, it made my boyfriend and I’s first trip to Massachusetts wonderful. She gave great tips where to eat and shop, sights to see like the amazing bridge of flowers. We only stayed one night but it was the best time. It was like home away from home. We both loved it and will definitely be back!

Melody’s place is THE place to stay in Western Mass. My girlfriend and I drove up to get away from NYC and see what all this recreational hubbub is all about. Not only were we within minutes of the river and park, but we were also less than a half hour drive from several dispensaries, a couple were even closer. She allows smoking on the deck, and boy did we take advantage of that. Melody keeps a very clean place, and was very helpful with local tips and advice. The quiet hours allowed us to enjoy the deck late at night without any disturbance. We’ll be going back any time we visit the state!

Melody was great and the space (#4) was perfect for what I needed. I asked to check in a bit early in order to get to an event and Melody communicated very quickly and was very accommodating. She had the space all prepared for me with (new) fans going to keep it cool on a very hot day. She gave me a number of great suggestions of things to do nearby before my event started again the following day, which I did and enjoyed very much. The space was clean and comfortable with a kitchen area, bedroom with some sitting space and bathroom as well as a deck are where you can sit if you choose. I would return if I was in the area again. The area was beautiful also..the drive from there to North Adams through the mountains was spectacular.

I would definitely recommend Melody’s place as a great spot to say, especially if you are hoping to do any tourism along the Mohawk trail. I second other reviewers in that the room #3 is actually much bigger than the photos seem. The place was kept very clean and there were thoughtful touches throughout.
